Terry Crow
Terry Crow is the owner and driving force behind Starfish Performance Consultants. She founded Starfish based on her strong belief that each person can make a difference in their personal and professional lives. She brings more than twenty years of experience to the business in areas such as performance management, compensation and rewards, strategic consulting, talent management, training, and organizational development. She has held various management positions in both corporate and field organization structures.
Terry brings value to her clients by drawing on her vast business experience in developing solutions that are creative, flexible and custom tailored to address specific business needs. Her approach to consulting is solution oriented, practical and realistic.
She is also enthusiastic about sharing her experience with others through speaking events, workshops and coaching sessions. In addition, she is passionate about education, and thoroughly enjoys teaching as an adjunct professor.
Terry has earned a Bachelor’s Degree and MBA, and she is certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional.

The Starfish Story that follows speaks to the importance of each individual and the daily choices we have that can make a difference in the way others experience life. We found it to be so inspirational and descriptive of our philosophy that we took “Starfish” to be part of the name for our business. The Starfish Story
One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean.
Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing?”
The youth replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.”
“Son,” the man said, “don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish?
You can’t make a difference!”
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said,
“I made a difference for that one.”
